PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a safe, small and light dry metallized film capacitor using a metallized film and not using insulating oil. SOLUTION: A pair of metallized films 2 are wound in piles, and metal is thermal-sprayed on a winding end surface to form a capacitor element 1. Further, the elements 1 are connected in series, parallel or serial-parallel, and a radiator plate 15 is put between the elements 1 to form an element body 6. A metal recessed-shaped case 8 is put on an end surface and a side surface of the element body 6 with insulating resin 7 in between, and the insulating resin is cured. Then the recessed-shaped case is removed to form an aggregate 11, and the aggregate 11 is contained in the metal vessel 12 with the radiator plate 15 protruded, and the aggregate 11 is fixed to the metal vessel 12 with resin 9.
