CO2 REFRIGERANT HEAT PUMP AND SNOW MELTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat pump using a CO2 as a refrigerant. SOLUTION: The heat pump 1 has a structure in which a condenser 15 provided at a discharge side of a compressor 11 has a first cooling part 15a and a second cooling part 15b connected in series with each other. A normal cooling water 16 of about 15 deg.C is supplied to the part 15a. A chilled water of about 5 to 7 deg.C of a cooled temperature is supplied to the part 15b by an absorption refrigerator 19 to cool a CO2 refrigerator to 10 deg.C to be liquefied and supplied to an expansion valve 17. The liquid refrigerant passed through the valve 17 is partly vaporized, and stored in a gas-liquid separator 27. The pressure of the separated refrigerant liquid 31 in the separator 27 is boosted by a booster pump 35. Then, the boosted liquid refrigerant 31 is supplied to an evaporator 37, vaporized, and supplied to an intermediate stage Ac of the compressor 11. The separated refrigerant gas 29 in the separator 27 is sucked to an initial stage of the compressor 11.
