PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a two stage double effect absorption refrigerating machine by reducing the amount of storage of a solution. SOLUTION: A two stage double effect absorption refrigerating machine includes a high temperature regenerator 1A, a low temperature regenerator 1B, a condenser 2, a first evaporator 3A, a first absorber 4A including a first solution tank 25A formed at a lower portion thereof, and a second absorber 4B including a second evaporator 3B and a second solution tank 25B formed at a lower portion thereof. A solution scattered into the first absorber is scattered into the second absorber. Hereby, cold at -3 to -10 deg.C can be taken out from the second evaporator. The first evaporator and the first absorber are formed in the same first shell, and the second evaporator and the second absorber are formed in the same second shell, and further the first solution tank is disposed below the second solution tank.
