PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recording device in which lengthening of duplicating time can be prevented and in which duplication is made so that the last part of a movement can be reproduced at the time of specifying and reproducing the movement. SOLUTION: An address in a range in which the index value of each movement of an optical disk of the original for duplication becomes 0 only in the interval from a position preceding to the head position of each movement by a prescribed time to the head position is searched, and an index value is made 0 only in a range in which the index value of each movement becomes 0. In other cases, as duplication is performed for an optical disk in which an index value can be written as a prescribed value other than 0, the time for reading out an index of the optical disk of the original for duplication is minimized, the lengthening of a duplicating time is prevented. Since duplication can be performed between movements so that a part of 0 of an index value does not exist when a part of 0 of an index value does not exist between the movements of the optical disk of the original for duplication, the last part of movement can be reproduced at the time of specifying and reproducing a movement.
