PURPOSE: A device for cooling condenser using condensed water is provided to cool down the condenser by supplying condensed water generated in an evaporator to a cooling pipe installed to a header pipe of the condenser. CONSTITUTION: A cooling pipe(4) with a drain valve(5) is installed to one side of a header(1) of a heat exchanger. A drain pan(6), collecting condensed water generated in an evaporator, is connected with the cooling pipe by a piping(7) so that the condensed water is supplied to the cooling pipe. The condensed water with relatively low temperature cools down refrigerant with high temperature circulating in the header to improve condensing efficiency of a condenser. When the condensed water in the cooling pipe is excessive, the surplus condensed water is discharged using the drain valve. |
