PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for an accessory formed to be hardy deformable during use, with a thinned plate-shaped main body preventing a lower part of a gem from easily protruding from a bottom part of the plate-shaped main body in structure, and easy in manufacturing and gem mounting work to provide advantages regarding cost. SOLUTION: A plate-shaped frame body of metal or precious metal is formed to have a U-shaped cross section, and a U-shaped bottom part of this is bent toward an opening part to form a table part. A hole is provided in the table part to contain the lower part of the gem to take light in. At an end part of the opening part in the plate-shaped frame body, pawl pieces to hold the gem mounted in the plate-shaped frame body from the opening part are provided. By bending the pawl members toward the upper surface side of the gem, it can be prevented from coming off. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
