PURPOSE: A system and a method for a trade settlement using a credit card are provided to perform the trade settlement easily and reliable by using the network and the credit card. CONSTITUTION: A member database(46) stores the credit card information and the credit information of an importer(20). A transaction database(47) stores the transaction particulars with the importer(20) and an exporter(30). An approval processing part(42) processes the transaction approval based on the credit information of the importer(20) if the transaction approval is requested from the importer(30). A settlement processing part(43) settles the price providing to the exporter(30) by receiving the transaction price from the importer(20) on a settlement day as informing the importer(30) of the price payment.
