<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep high processing performance when a gas containing a high-concentration organic solvent is treated by a serial multi-stage adsorption system by hindering a bad influence due to the evaporation of moisture caused by the heat of adsorption at the first adsorption step on the second adsorption step being the succeeding step. <P>SOLUTION: When the gas to be treated containing high concentration organic solvent is made to pass through the first adsorption step being the first step at first, the high-concentration organic solvent is adsorbed on an adsorbing material and the heat of adsorption is generated. The moisture adsorbed on the adsorbing material is evaporated and not only the temperature of the adsorbing material but also that of the treated gas at an outlet are raised by the generated heat of adsorption. The gas which is treated at the first adsorption step and enters the second adsorption step is diluted by outdoor air. As a result, the volume of the gas to be treated at the second adsorption step is increased and the relative humidity of the gas to be treated is lowered so that the drying at the second adsorption step is intensified by the diluted treated gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
