<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for heating a food by a micro-wave in which uneven heating in cooking with a microwave oven is improved. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for heating the food by the micro-wave, a food container filled with a food is inserted in an opening part formed in a case to surround the food container by at least side walls of the case and they are heated in a state that the bottom part of the food container floats so that the micro-wave is irradiated on the bottom part of the food container.
