<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To count persons passing in a predetermined direction in a game facility. <P>SOLUTION: The device comprises a measurement part through which persons pass, an entrance detection sensor 5 for detecting the entrance of persons to a passage part, a passing detection sensor 6 for detecting the leaving of persons from the measurement part, and a counting part 7a. When a person who enters the measurement part is detected by the detection sensor 5, the counting part adds one to the number of persons to be regarded to stay, and when the leaving of the person from the measurement part is detected by the sensor 6, the counting part deduces one from the number of persons to be regarded to stay in the measurement part, and adds one to the number of persons to be regarded to leave the measurement part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
