PURPOSE:To carry out graft polymerization to a polyamide molded product in high efficiency, by treating the polyamide with a mixture of acidic vinyl monomers of which molar average inorganicity/organicity value is adjusted to a specific range approximate to that of the polyamide molded product. CONSTITUTION:In the treatment of a polyamide molded product e.g. nylon 6 etc., with a mixture of acidic vinyl monomers, the molar average inorganicity/organicity value of the acidic vinyl monomers is adjusted to the range of + or -0.2 preferably + or -0.1 on the basis of that of the polyamide product by mixing two or more monomers. Preferably a peroxide, e.g. ammonium persulfate etc., and a reducing material, e.g. hydrosulfite etc., are added to the monomer mixture. The acidic aqueous solution having a pH preferably of <=7 is provided from the mixture, and the polyamide product is dipped in the solution for graft polymerization. EFFECT:The operation time is shortened due to the one-step treatment and contamination of the drainage can be reduced. |
