PURPOSE:To decrease or eliminate thoroughly the amount of waste water with good efficiency and simplicity in the stage of cleaning a material to be treated subjected to a treatment with a liquid chemical in plural cleaning zones by providing a device to evaporate away the amt. of the water corresponding to the excessively added fresh water. CONSTITUTION:The cleaning water in cleaning tanks 8a-8g is sprayed to the material I to be treated from spray nozzles 11a-11g via water introducing pipings 10a-10g in the stage of immersing the material I into the tank 6 of a liquid chemical zone 1 and subjecting the same to the treatment with the liquid chemical, then cleaning the material by immerssing successively the material into the immersion tanks 8a-8g of the cleaning zones 2A-2G. The fresh water of a storage tank 8h is sprayed via a spray nozzle 11h to the material I in the final cleaning zone 2G to clean said material. The cleaning water in the 1st tank 8a is fed via a branch pipe 18 to an evaporation chember 16 where the water is sprayed by, a spray nozzle mechanism 17 and is evaporated away by the hot air from a hot air blow port 19. The amt. of the water corresponding to the difference between the amt. of the water sticking and carrying over to the material I from the zone 1 and the amount of the water supplied to the zone 2G is thus removed and the amt. of the waste water is thoroughly eliminated.
