<p>An improved spinning pot for twisting and winding synthetic or artificial textile yarn which comprises an open-ended substantially barrel-shaped member 17, adapted to be removably mounted upon a rotatable base 6 through the medium of an intermediate member 20 provided between the lower end of the barrel-shaped member 17 and said rotatable base. The base 6 is provided with locking means adapted during operation of the pot to engage the barrel-shaped member 17 and secure said member to said pot. Means are provided for mounting of barrel-shaped member 17, intermediate member 20 and rotatable base 6 about the spindle 3 of a high speed motor 1, said mounting means comprising a pair of nesting bushes 16,19 composed of a fixed bush 19 formed integrally with said base 6 and a removable bush 16 adapted snugly to engage said fixed bush, said removable bush engaging said spindle 3 whereby the pot is concentrically located with respect to said spindle for balanced rotation. <IMAGE></p> |
