PURPOSE:To prevent a developer carrying member from being shifted and to transmit rotational force smoothly by transmitting the driving force of a driving force receiving member fitted to a developer storing container to the developer carrying member through a flexible coupling and forming a flexible coupling holding means. CONSTITUTION:A driving gear 36 to be used as a driving force receiving member is fitted to the side part of a hosing 31 of the developer storing container 22 by a supporting shaft 37 and coupled with a coil spring 39 constituting the flexible coupling arranged between the gear 36 and the toner carrying member 34. The coil spring 39 is pivotally held so as to coincide with the rotary shaft 49 of the toner carrying member 34 at a position sufficiently separated from a toner outflow port 33 through the flexible coupling holding member 90 consisting of a stay 90a and a guide cylinder 90b. Consequently, the outside of the toner carrying member 34 is prevented from being intensely pressed against the inside of the toner outflow part 32 due to the restoration force of the coil spring 39, i.e. the straight extension force of the coil spring 39, so that the toner carrying member can be driven under stable status. |
