PURPOSE:To enable the transmission of signals and the like between equipments along with a highly accurate circuit characteristic measurement, by connecting a function such as signal generating function and that such as voltage measuring function with a function balance type ECL circuit while current is made to fail to flow to any of the equipments from the ECL circuit. CONSTITUTION:The bodies of a signal generator 102 and a signal measuring apparatus 103 are insulated from each other and use independent power sources 301 and 312, which eliminates mutual effects of noises as a reference potential line related to the power sources forms no loop. On the other hand, a wire 121 is connected to a signal measuring apparatus 103 through FETs 306 and 308, making the signal generator 102 and the signal measuring apparatus 103 free from mutual effect of noises with no loop formed. The signal transmission between the signal generator 102 and signal measuring apparatus 103 is done with a balance type ECL circuit through the wire 121. Variations in the references in the reference potential of the signal generator 102 will not affect the signal measuring apparatus 103. This eliminates mutual effect of noises thereby enabling an extremely high measurement. |
