[Class 142 (iv)] An ornamental fabric for ladies' belts, handbags, &c. comprises fibrous wefts 4 interwoven with warp strands 2 of cotton, linen, rayon or silk and with bead, ball or shot chain warps each comprising a flexible chain 1 of metallic beads or balls 1<a> and metallic connecting links 1<b>. There may be two or other number of strands 2 between adjacent chains and beads of different metals or colours, and warp and weft strands of different colours or materials may be used. At each side chain 1, the weft thread only engages alternate links.
