A description is given of a handgrip-fastening system which is suitable, in particular, for use in the sanitary area by disabled people. The system comprises a wall fastening plate (10) with handgrips (28) which can be fitted thereon, the wall fastening plate being provided with three (or more) attachment bolts which project, in an aligned manner next to one another at a constant distance from one another, from the wall fastening plate and permit the fixable attachment of handgrips (Figure 8). <IMAGE>
