PURPOSE:To reduce the strain caused on the structure of a thin sheet wall and to facilitate the work by performing a downward welding of the rib material tacked on the thin sheet of a thin sheet wall structure after welding the upper end and lower end of the thin sheet wall structure to the upper part deck structure and lower part deck structure. CONSTITUTION:A major assembling is made with a thin sheet wall structure and upper part deck structure 06 by erecting vertically the thin sheet wall structure on the upper deck structure 06 being placed horizontally on a surface plate 01 with the rib material 02 up and by welding to the thin sheet of the upper part deck structure 06 and rib material respectively the lower end of the rib material 03 and the thin sheet 02 thereof. The lower end of the thin sheet 02 of the thin sheet wall structure is subjected to a fillet welding onto the lower part deck structure 08 by erecting with reversing the major assembling onto the lower part deck structure 08 placed horizontally with the rib material 03 down. Finally the rib material 03 tacked on the thin sheet 02 of the vertical thin sheet wall structure is welded to the thin sheet 02 regularly by a downward welding.
