<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential device capable of reducing the dimension and the weight of a differential device and reducing its cost though a pair of clutch mechanisms are disposed. <P>SOLUTION: This differential device comprises a driving shaft 3 rotated by a driving force of a motor, an intermediate transmitting member 5, a gear transmitting mechanism 11 in which a driving gear 7 is connected with the driving shaft 3, and a driven gear 9 is connected with the intermediate transmitting member 5 for transmitting the rotation of the driving shaft 3 to the intermediate transmitting member 5, and a pair of clutch mechanisms 13, 13 for distributing the rotation of the intermediate transmitting member 5 to the side of a pair of wheels, and the clutch mechanisms 13, 13 are disposed at the radially inner side of the driven gear 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
