PURPOSE:To prevent the freezing of water in pipes used in a cold district during the winter season by controlling an electric heater wound and wrapped around pipes with temp. sensors installed at a certain interval on the surface of pipes installed under the floor of a living space or in a wall. CONSTITUTION:On the overall length of connecting pipes 13 and a piping 15 led from a boiler 11, an electric heater 16 is wound and wrapped and temp. sensors 17 detecting the temp. of the piping 15 and the pipes 13 are installed in a water heater 10. When the operation of the boiler 11 is stopped in the extremely cold time etc., the temp. of the warm water in the piping 15 is naturally reduced and the sensors detecting the lowest temp. quickly among a number of the temp. sensors transmits the data to the control device which turns on the heater 16 to supply electricity and the outer surface of the piping 15 is heated to prevent the water in the pipes 13 and the piping 15 from freezing.
