The data processing device for optical discs has a turntable and a magnet in order to draw the disc onto the turntable. The device has a main body with an opening for receiving and surrendering the disc, also a mechanism for moving the disc from the turntable to the opening, which has a tilting mechanism for inclining the disc in relation to the turntable in order to reduce the counteracting force required to overcome the force of attraction of the magnet upon movement of the disc from the turntable to the opening.
