<p>PURPOSE:To easily mount an arrester unit at an iron tower by mounting an attachment adapter split at its end to a plurality of arms at the supporting arm of the tower, mounting the ground side electrode fittings of the unit at the end of the adapter, and mounting a current transformer at the arm. CONSTITUTION:An attachment adapter 9 is horizontally clamped by a bolt 10 at the end of a supporting arm 2, and an arrester unit 11 is mounted on the upper face of the end of the adapter 9. The end of the adapter 9 is split to a pair of arms 9a, 9b, a square-sectional cylindrical insulator collar 30 is engaged with one arm 9a, and a current transformer 31 is engaged with the collar 30. The collar 30 is used to insulate the transformer 31 from the potential rise of the arm 9a due to a lightning surge current. Since the adapter 9 is split to the two arms 9a, 9b and the transformer 31 is mounted at the arm 9a, a special member for mounting the transformer 31 may not be used, thereby facilitating an assembling work.</p> |
