In a motor-vehicle hoist, the supporting device with supporting frame and pivot device for pivoting about a roughly horizontal axis is arranged on the top end of a central lifting column, and the hoist is designed as a single-column hoist. The pivot device has at the top end of the lifting column a supporting part and above the latter a bearing part, held on a cross member, for the pivot bearing arrangement. Displaceably held on both sides of the cross member are longitudinal members which have a rubber layer at one end and a locking device at the other end with a holder engaging in a positive-locking manner in a roughly pocket-shaped receptacle on the vehicle. By means of the locking device, the vehicle picked up can be held in a non-slip and stable manner in a position pivoted forwards or rearwards about the pivot axis. The locking device has a head part which can be fastened as a loose part to the vehicle and can be coupled in a positive-locking manner to the allocated longitudinal member or can be uncoupled from the latter. |
