The planting device for inserting plants into filled containers comprises a core enclosed by a dividible sleeve which comprises two cylindrical halves which can be separated from each other only when the core has been removed from the sleeve. The sleeve and core can be made of plastics or metal. The device is inserted into the substrate whereupon the core is pulled out and the plant inserted into the hollow of the sleeve. Each half of the sleeve is then removed individually to avoid damaging the plant. |
