PURPOSE:To separate left and right video images clearly by turning on or off alternately a liquid crystal shutter placed in front of a lens of 2 sets of video cameras arranged side by side at a prescribed interval toward an object and recording a video signal and a control signal synchronized with the on/off switching onto a recording medium. CONSTITUTION:Liquid crystal shutters 13, 14 arranged in front of lenses of two sets of video cameras 11, 12 arranged side by side at a prescribed interval D toward an object are turned on/off alternately by a controller 15 and the video signal from the video cameras 11, 12 and the control signal synchronized with the on/off switching of the liquid crystal shutters 13, 14 are recorded on a recording medium with a video recorder 16. In this case, only one video signal from the two video cameras 11, 12 is inputted to the video recorder 16 by the on/off switching of the liquid crystal shutters 13, 14. Thus, the left and right video images are separated clearly. |
