<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for initial setting of information or the like by applying message exchange processing based on information representing presence/absence of lines only. CONSTITUTION:Let a station address of a terminator 6 be (a), a host computer 1 issues message addressed to the station (a) to two lines, A line 2 and D line 7 connected to itself. A repeater 5 and the terminator 6 receiving the message from the A line 2 extract a destination station from the received message so as to decide whether or not the message is addressed to its own station. When the address of the message is its own station, the relevant station processes the message according to the content. When the message is not addressed to its own station, the number of lines (n) connected to its own station except an input line is calculated, and when n=0, the message is aborted and when (n) is not equal to 0, the message is copied to n-sets and the message is sent to the n-lines connected to its own station and the communication is then terminated.</p> |
