DESCRIPTIVE The present invention relates to an endless belt co-operating with a cylinder for shrinking a sheet material interposed between the belt and the cylinder. This endless belt (5) is characterized in that it is made from two materials one of which constituting the thickness fraction (10) of the belt towards the sheet material is more flexible than the other material constituting the other thickness fraction or remaining thickness (11) of the belt so as to confer upon the latter differential elasticity properties adapted to the material to be shrinked.
