The cloth comprises 73% warp and weft threads made of used thread and 25% discontinuous chemical fibre. The warp thread is also twisted with two polyester filaments to give a warp:weft thickness ratio of ca. 1.25. The weft torsion metric coefft. is ca. 143 while the warp coefficient is 16.24 fold greater than this.
