PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a cable without causing damage.SOLUTION: A cable restraint system includes a cable restraint device 100 and a device base 200. The device base 200 includes: a base plate 204; and mounting posts 202 disposed thereon. The cable restraint device 100 includes: a base portion 102; a flexible insert 106; and a top portion 104. The base portion 102 has: a mounting column 304 having an opening 306 for receiving the mounting posts 202; and two sidewalls defining troughs 310, 312 which house a cable. The flexible insert 106 is housed in the base portion 102, and a top portion 104 is attached to the base portion 102 from above the flexible insert 106 to cause the cable to be restrained to the cable restraint device 100 with a force that does not cause damage and concurrently fix the cable restraint device 100 to the device base 200.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
