INTERVENING FILM AND OSTOMY POUCH HAVING SUPERABSORBENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ostomy pouch by using a superabsorbent. SOLUTION: This pouch is formed of first and second walls welded along a terminal part. The first wall 10 is provided with an inlet opening 20 and the second wall 12 with vent holes 44. The vent holes are held covered by a filter 46. An air permeable and liquid impermeable membrane 34 is installed between the wall and the wall. The filter is held covered by a first member 48 consisting of the superabsorbent. The moisture in gas is absorbed before the gas comes into contact with the filter, by which the sealing of the filter is prevented. An outlet chamber 42 is provided with the second member 50 consisting of the superabsorbent. The membrane is fixed to the wall to absorb the moisture having the possibility of lowering the air permeability of the membrane.
