Cover strips (16) are secured to the cabinet edge section (10) to cover essentially the entire length of the gap (22) between the cabinet and door, and these strips form a tight seal over this gap when the door is closed. When the door is swung open the distance (D) between the hinge pin central axis and the opposing hinge fastener (20) is greater than the distance (E) between this central axis and the cover strip edge facing the edge of the door. The door used to access the inside of the machine is mounted on hinges hinge fittings secured to the inside of the cabinet and via fasteners to the door edge region, so that the door is swung outwards about the hinge pin (18) in order to be opened. |
