The folding holder for bottles and glasses, etc., has a central support (1) for mounting to a surface with grooves (R) and notches. A lower member (2) is at right angles to the support (1) when open, held by a butt, and which swings upwards on a pivot. The upper member (3), which also swings out at right angles to the support, has a height adjustment through the grooves (R) by its slides which fit into them. The dimensions of the three holder components (1-3) can be set according to the nature of container to be held. The three members can be of a variety of solid materials such as wood, metal, plastics, etc. The grooves (R) at the center support can be of a variable height and depth. The disk forming the lower support member (2) can have a treated surface, such as non-slip. Its base can be more or less deeper, and a surrounding rim. The linkages holding the members together can be of a different material, such as non-rusting. The dimensions of the slides at the upper member (3) are set to give movement within the grooves (R) with a friction grip.
