PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To particularly suitably use an electric power supply cable to supply discharge electric power to an electric discharge machine by arranging an internal conductor by arranging plural braided element assemblies of thin diameter electric conductors at intervals on an insulating core and an external conductor having the same constitution as the internal conductor on an insulating layer for covering this. SOLUTION: In a cable, the periphery of an insulating core 1 of the central part is covered with an internal conductor 2 composed of a braid. The braid is formed by knitting plural stranded wires composed of tin plating-applied thin diameter soft copper wires in a tubular shape as a single set. An insulating layer 3 is formed around the internal conductor 2, the outside surface is covered with an external conductor 4 same as the internal conductor 2, and a casing 5 is formed on the outside surface. The internal conductor 2 and the external conductor 4 are constituted as the braid to increase the respective surface areas, and among the surface area of the insulating layer 3, a rate of the area covered with the braid of the external conductor 4 is set to 65 to 95% to largely contribute to a skin effect.
