PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for arranging green pellets capable of arranging the green pellets for nuclear fuel in high density and avoiding welding of the adjacent green pellets in a sintering process. SOLUTION: After green pellets 1 are arranged on a transit dish 2 in a standing state, they are arranged on a sintering dish 5 in the standing state by moving them from the transit dish 2 to the sintering dish 5 as they remain in the standing state. In addition, the pellets 1 are extruded from the transit dish 2 to the sintering dish 5 in a process for moving the pellets 1 to the sintering dish 5, and the green pellets extruded from the transit dish 2 are arranged on the sintering dish 5 at a prescribed position by moving the sintering dish 5 in the same direction as the extrusion direction of the green pellets 1 at substantially the same speed of the extrusion speed of the green pellets 1 or speed exceeding it.
