A device 10 for dispensing fluid from a flexible bag 22, such as for use in medical procedure carried out with an endoscope to irrigate and clean a site in a patients body, comprises an openable clamshell type casing with a base 14 and lid 16 containing a tray 20 for receiving a fluid-filled bladder or bag 22 and a pressure applicator 18 movable by an actuator 30. Movement of the actuator 30 pushes the pressure applicator 18 against the tray 20 by translation or by rotation via linkage arms 32,34 to compress the bag 22 between the tray 20 and the casing 12 and dispense fluid, such as saline, through outlet 24. |
