Roller assemblies (WA) are placed and locked on rest bars between the roll stands. A lifter basket (LK1,2) vertically movable in guide frame (FG1,2) has two compartments above each other, and a carrier frame (19,20,21,22) horizontally movable into and out of each compartment. The frame picks up roller assembly, and executes a vertical movement to place it on/lift it off a rest bar (25,26).
