PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin pellet from which a molding excellent in thermal conductivity, mechanical characteristics and heat resistance is obtained, and to provide a method for producing a resin pellet from which a molding excellent in thermal conductivity, mechanical characteristics and heat resistance is obtained.SOLUTION: The resin pellet is provided which contains a thermoplastic resin (A) and a carbon fiber (B), and in which the thermoplastic resin (A) is a crystalline resin, the carbon fiber (B) contains a PAN-based carbon fiber (B-1) and a pitch-based carbon fiber (B-2), and a mass-average fiber length of the carbon fiber (B) in the pellet is 0.1 mm to 0.9 mm. The method for producing a resin pellet is also provided in which a PAN-based carbon fiber (B-1) having a mass-average fiber length of 2 mm to 20 mm and a pitch-based carbon fiber (B-2) having a mass-average fiber length of 2 mm to 20 mm is supplied to a thermoplastic resin (A) being in a molten state.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
