The method involves measuring the frequency and amplitude of the noise signals (P asterisk ) during the noise intervals, storing the results and compensating for the noise with a signal with a complementary profile. The noise signal can be compensated by varying the light amplification of the laser beam. An Independent claim is also included for an arrangement for reducing noise from laser light.
