PURPOSE: A structure of humidifier and its installation method is provided to achieve an improved heat efficiency and comfort environment. CONSTITUTION: A raw water container in a water reservoir(2) flows through a water supply port(3), and heated at a heat transfer surface(9), thus causing a convection. The vapor produced from the convection is conveyed to the water reservoir through a humidification port(4) and discharged for humidification through a humidifying outlet port(5). A raw water exchange device(7) is installed to a pipeline(8) beneath the water supply port of the water reservoir, so that the raw water contained in the reservoir is exchanged in a convenient manner when impurities are introduced into the reservoir or the raw water in the reservoir is contaminated by a corrosion of the heat transfer surface. The reservoir is constituted by a cover part having a raw water supply port(6) and the humidifying outlet port, and the water supply port and the humidification port, for convenience of raw water supplementation, humidification, and connection of the pipeline to the heat transfer surface.
