Composition for temporary coloration of the hair obtained by mixing, prior to use, a component containing an enamine compound of formula (I) and another component containing at least one carbonyl group. The colored hair can be decolorized by contact with a sulfite-containing preparation. An agent for coloring fibres is obtained by mixing (A1) a first component containing an enamine of formula (I) or physiologically acceptable salt of this: R<1> = mono- or polynuclear aromatic residue, especially an optionally with 1-4 C alkyl-, 1-4 C-hydroxyalkyl-, methoxy-, dialkylamino- or halogen-substituted 5- or 6-membered aryl residue, especially a phenyl residue, or a 5- or 6-membered heterocycle, preferably a pyridyl residue, or a naphthyl residue R<2> = a straight or branched 1-8 C alkyl, straight or branched 1-8 C hydroxyalkyl or 1-8 C alkoxyalkyl in which an O atom may be situated between the C atoms of the alkyl chain R<3> = straight or branched 1-8 C alkyl, 1-8 C alkoxy, straight or branched 1-8 C alkylene, 1-8 C alkoxyalkylene, -O-, -NH-, -NR<4>- or -S- R<4> = alkyl, alkoxyalkyl, hydroxyalkyl or H R<1> and R<3> together with the N atom and C atom of the enamine base structure may = a cyclic structure and (A2) a second component containing at least one carbonyl group.
