PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an isothermal micro motor capable of taking out great work energy. SOLUTION: The micro motor comprises a laser and an object floated in a liquid medium, the object having at least two configurations. Work energy is taken out of the object by spontaneously and periodically repeating in order the step of focusing a laser beam into the liquid medium and capturing at least a portion of the object at its focus; the step of causing the captured object to absorb light energy from the laser beam or otherwise the step of allowing the medium present at the focus to absorb the light energy and causing the energy to migrate from the medium to the object; and the step of allowing the object which has absorbed the energy to shift to a stable state.
