PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an identification circuit at low costs, whose characteristic deterioration is small and which can be operated by a high frequency signal. SOLUTION: This circuit is composed of a bias supply circuit 5 for outputting a bias signal Vbias to be alternately switched to V1 and V2 and a multistable circuit 4 independently having an input terminal 1, a bias terminal 2 and an output terminal 3. The multistable circuit 4 identifies the maximum value of an input signal Vin on the condition of Vbias=V2, establishes the condition of Vout=VL (Vin>Vt) or VH (Vin>Vt), is reset on the condition of Vbias=V1 and establishes the condition of Vout=Vo. In this case, Vt is a threshold.
