PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter having a simple structure, capable of miniaturizing the machine and detaching and attaching each part of the machine, having a large treating ability of cutting and suitable for cutting tea leaves into a small size. SOLUTION: This rotation type tea leaf cutter is composed of a rotor holding columnar cutting blades on the outer periphery of a disk like plate, a driving means for rotating the rotor around a horizontal shaft and a semicircular floating screen supported so as to be able to adjust the interval with these cutting blades of the rotor and boring a plurality of openings.
