PURPOSE: A device and a method for detecting an error of an application program using an interrupt are provided to process an error by determining if a task violates an allocated area with a simple comparison logic in hardware and generating an interrupt signal, so as to inform the information with respect to a memory and an application program of the current problem to a CPU. CONSTITUTION: A CPU(10) performs a general control and process in a board. A comparison logic(40) checks whether a task being performed according to a command of the CPU(10) performs a normal operation and outputs an error detecting signal. A memory controller(30) receives an error detecting signal from the comparison logic(40) and outputs a memory control signal for controlling a memory(20). The memory(20) receives the memory control signal from the memory controller(30), and stores or deletes data.
