PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance heat resistance of a rotary compressor and eliminate wasteful insulation material by controlling deterioration of insulation of a compressor motor (60), under high temperature. SOLUTION: The compressor motor (60) is formed as a direct winding motor, in which the winding system is of the slot cell system or an insulator system. The insulation paper (67, 68) and insulator thereof are formed of material having higher a load-deflection temperature or acid-resistant characteristic and superior heat resistant characteristic.
