PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To newly provide an open-type humidistat for sample drying prevention by which an operation to amount, move and the like of a sample is performed easily and in which an automated system such as a workstation or the like can be built. SOLUTION: In the open-type humidistat for sample drying prevention, a blower, a draft air duct by which air sent out from the blower is passed through water vapor and a surface-opened mounting base which faces an air outlet of the draft air duct and on which a sample housing container or the like is placed are installed, the air which is wetted properly is supplied to the sample in the sample housing container, and the drying of the sample is prevented.
