PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system with a lens cleaning function which makes easy a cleaning work after using the endoscope and improves the draining property of a cleaning medium while in use. SOLUTION: A nozzle member 25 extending to the position covering the tip side opening of a pipe passage is formed at the tip part of a sheath 17 covering an endoscope inserting part. A plurality of flow passages communicating to the tip side opening of the pipe passage are disposed in the nozzle member 25. A cleaning nozzle 28 opening toward an object cover glass 22 mounted on the tip face of the endocsope inserting part is formed by at least one flow passage. The other flow passages open to the outer face of the nozzle member 25 avoiding the cleaning nozzle 28. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
