PURPOSE: A hardness measuring apparatus of a washing machine is provided to prevent washing water from leaking from a gap between an electrode sensor and a sensor hole with an epoxy molding and to reduce error of conductivity by fixing the electrode sensor to a sensor housing. CONSTITUTION: A hardness measuring apparatus of a washing machine includes a sensor housing(56), an electrode sensor(60) and a sealing member(62). The sensor housing is installed to a side of a tub to contact washing water of the tub. The electrode sensor is arranged inside the sensor housing. An end of the electrode sensor penetrates through a side of the sensor housing to sense conductivity of washing water. The sealing member fills the inside of the sensor housing to prevent washing water from leaking form the side of the sensor housing as epoxy. Thereby, error of conductivity generated by shaking the electrode sensor is reduced by fixing the electrode sensor to the sensor housing. |
