PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a spacer and a flat panel display device having the spacer are provided to manufacture the spacer having a high aspect ratio in which its setting and mounting works are easy. CONSTITUTION: In pattern forming process(ST10), at least two or more photosensitive glasses are prepared. By a screen printing an adhesive paste, a desired shape of a mask pattern is formed on each photosensitive glass. In exposure process(ST20), by using an exposure lamp, the photosensitive glass is exposed, respectively. In alignment process(ST30), the photosensitive glass is aligned as a double layer. In crystallization and unity process(ST40), the photosensitive glass is sintered, and so a structural difference between the exposed portion and the non-exposed portion is generated, and the photosensitive glasses are united by using an adhesive paste. In selective removing process(ST50), the photosensitive glasses are removed selectively and a spacer having a multilayer structure is manufactured. |
