PURPOSE: An apparatus for testing endurance of a select rod in a manual transmission vehicle is provided to individually test endurance of a linkage, which transfers an operational force of a transmission lever to a manual transmission unit. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for testing endurance of a select rod(50) includes an actuator(52) connected to one end of the select rod(50) so as to operate the select rod(50). A torque meter(54) is coupled to the other end of the select rod(50) so as to measure torque applied to the select rod(50) when the select rod(50) is operated. A twist sensor(56) is aligned at one side of the select rod(50) so as to measure an amount of twist of the select rod(50) when the select rod(50) is operated. A twist variable unit(60) is selectively coupled to the select rod(50) so as to apply elastic force to the select rod(50).
